Mill Creek senior Zack Johnson has made a commitment to the Mercer University football program, which will begin play in 2013 under former Furman coach Bobby Lamb.
Johnson, an offensive lineman, was a first-team All-Region 7-AAAAA and second-team All-Gwinnett County selection as a senior. He also was chosen for the Rivalries of Gwinnett All-Star Football Game.
