Right to Hike is hosting its inaugural Spring Golf Classic on March 26 at the TPC at Sugarloaf in Duluth. The local non-profit supports causes and provides college scholarships in honor of the late Meredith Emerson, a Buford resident who was kidnapped on a hiking trip and murdered in 2008.
Registration and putting contest will be at 9 a.m. and shotgun start will be at 10 a.m., with dinner and awards planned for 4 p.m. A number of sponsorship levels are available and cost is $125 per individual golfer.
