Mrs. Eula Toomey, age 97, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Dee Toomey; and sister, Myrtle Brady. She is survived by her children, Virgil Dee Toomey and wife, Loretta, Buford, GA, Robert S. Toomey and wife, Cecilia, Acworth, GA, William Michael Toomey and wife, Lydia Birk, Clinton, TN and Lila Toomey Pickup-Crawford and husband, Vernon Pickup-Crawford, Wellington, FL; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Miller, Hernando, MS and Leona Kloss, Bebee, AR; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Toomey was born July 4, 1914 in Palestine, AR. She was a graduate of Cotton Plant High School in Cotton Plant, AR. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at College Dale Memorial Gardens in College Dale, TN.
