Shiloh won the Region 8-AAAAA junior varsity boys basketball championship last weekend with a 51-45 win over Grayson in the championship game.
Tournament MVP Emir Basic scored 13 points to lead the Generals (15-2) along with all-tournament selections C.J. Brown and Elliot Strickland. Austin Morris led Grayson with 14 points.
Basic, Brown and Strickland were joined on the winning team by Javetz Hudson, Jamal Gamble, Trey Moore, Jayln McDonald, Davantae James, Justin Chance, Jerry Vincent, Malik Crawford, Isaiah Watson, Thomas Massey and Tauqeer Bhatti.
"This was the ultimate team," first-year Shiloh JV boys head coach Antoine Stroud said. "From the first day of practice until the championship game, these kids did nothing but what I asked of them and that is why we are the champions. I love these kids with all my heart and I am truly going to miss this group of young men."
