ATLANTA (AP) -- Authorities say thieves have been stealing booze from trucks making delivers to bars, restaurants and stores in Atlanta.
Police said that delivery truck drivers have reported three such crimes during the past two weeks. The drivers have returned to their vehicles to find bottles of alcohol missing late last month.
All of the crimes have occurred in the northeast part of the city.
In one recent case, police say a driver making a delivery on North Highland Avenue returned to his vehicle to find a moving truck parked next to his truck and several suspects removing items from his vehicle.
Two days later, a driver on Ponce De Leon said someone cut the lock off his delivery truck and removed alcoholic beverages.
