Marques Freeman, who plays for the home-schooled Georgia Force, has signed a letter of intent with the University of St. Mary football program, located in Leavenworth, Kans. He is the son of Warren and Roberta Freeman.
Freeman played on Brookwood's 2010 state championship team before finishing his career with the Force. He led the Force in tackles last season and was voted the program's defensive player of the year. The team captain also was named to the Georgia Football League All-Star Team.
