Dacula's Rocky Capobianco signed a letter of intent to play football next season at the University of West Georgia.

Versatility was a trait that Jared Zito stressed with college recruiters when it came to Alex Armah and Rocky Capobianco. The Dacula football coach knew the two seniors had talent, but the ability to play numerous places was an added bonus.

"How many times do you have an offensive guard that sits over on the bench for four years and never plays because that's all he plays," Zito said. "Both of these guys can play all these places. They're both the same way. I told the recruiters, 'You're not going to miss with these kids.'"

Armah was recruited by West Georgia as a linebacker, while Capobianco was signed as a defensive back. But they both have capability on offense -- Valdosta State wanted Armah as an H-back and Capobianco as a running back. Capobianco started at safety for the Falcons at the end of his senior season, but at the high school level he's known more of his offensive ability, which earned him Daily Post player of the year honors in 2011.

"They signed Rocky as a DB, but they're also wide open on it," Zito said. "They know what he can do on offense."
