Florine W. McBride age 93 of Snellville passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Odum officiating. Burial will follow at Snellville Historical Cemetery. Mrs. McBride was a charter member of White Oak Baptist Church, Lilburn, where she was a longtime Sunday School teacher of the Deborah Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Nelson J. McBride; son, Rev. Dr. Michael McBride; brother, M.J. Ward. She is survived by her Children: Roland & Julia McBride, Oxford; Jerry & June McBride, Pine Mountain; Neva & Jack Miller, Hartwell; David & Joy McBride, Snellville; Daughter-in-law: Marcia McBride, Decatur; Sisters: Mary Prince, Hartwell; Sara Duncan, Sebring, FL; 20 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends, 4-7 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Georgia 30078. 770-979-5010.
