Autince (Tince) Elva Green, age 90, of Berkeley Lake, passed away December 22nd, 2012. She was a Berkeley Lake resident and born in Sand Rock, AL on April 9, 1922. After graduating from Sand Rock High School she moved to Atlanta and worked for Bell Aircraft during World War II. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a long time active member of Winters Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an active member of The United Methodist Women and leader of the Prime Timers (a senior group) for many years. She was an avid bowler and bowled in a Tuesday morning league for 50+ years. She continued to bowl until the time of her death. AUTINCE (TINCE) GREEN WAS THE MATRIARCH OF HER FAMILY. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, Herbert C. Green, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Cathy and Ronnie Letson of Norcross, GA.; son, Terry Green of Snellville, GA; five grandchildren, Mindi Grisham, Ronnie Letson Jr., Brittany Crain, Jenna Green, Ashley Wright, along with four great-grandchildren, Parker and Avery Grisham and Tripp and Eli Letson. She is also survived by a sister, Isabell Oliver and a brother, Guy Parker. Funeral Services for Mrs. Green will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Winters Chapel United Methodist Church, Doraville, GA. Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park, Doraville, GA. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, one hour prior to the service.
