MARIETTA — An arrest warrant has been issued for the ex-husband in the death of a Marietta woman.
Cobb County police said that 58-year-old John Stephen Kristofak is being sought in the death of 48-year-old Donna Nations Kristofak. Cobb County police and emergency personnel responded to a 911 call at around 11:48 p.m. to a house on Tall Pine Drive in Marietta.
They found Donna Kristofak inside with serious injuries and unresponsive. Police spokesman Michael Bowman said she was taken to a local hospital where she died of her injuries.
Police said Kristofak believed to be armed and dangerous. He faces charges of aggravated assault and murder. He was last seen driving a brown Chevrolet Equinox bearing Georgia tag BUV 2635.
