CARROLLTON — Gwinnett County was left without an undefeated boys teams when host Carrollton defeated Greater Atlanta Christian 61-54 Saturday night in the championship game of the Carrollton Christmas Tournament.
Riley Criswell had 30 points as the Class AAAA Trojans won their seventh straight win after an opening loss. GAC fell to 9-1.
The Spartans led by nine points early in the third quarter and the game was tied in the fourth at 50 when Carrollton took charge with a 6-0 run that featured a dunk by Criswell, the son of Carrollton coach Tim Criswell.
Isaiah Wilkins had 17 points and Collin Swinton scored 14 for GAC.
