LAWRENCEVILLE -- It's time to start writing those New Year's resolutions because 2013 is right around the corner.
And if you need a place to celebrate the new year, Lawrenceville Rings will be rocking from 6 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31 on the lawn of the Historic Gwinnett Courthouse.
To start out the evening, there are several activities for the little ones to enjoy from 6 to 9 p.m., including inflatables and a trackless train before heading to bed.
At 9 p.m., The Swingin' Medallions take the stage and are playing until midnight when the fireworks are set off to ring in 2013. The Southern group is know for its 1966 hit "Double Shot of My Baby's Love."
For the concert, people can rent a table or bring lawn chairs and blankets to find a spot on the lawn. There is no alcohol allowed at the event.
For table rentals, call 678-226-2639.
