Central Gwinnett's record-setting quarterback Eman Westmoreland has been selected to the inaugural FBU International all-star game on January 1-5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
The FBU International All-Star Games feature top athletes selected from FBU North America and FBU International camps held from September 2011 to September 2012. Each athlete will be selected based on their performance at a camp, as well as playing footage, judged by the FBU committee of former NFL players and coaches. In the aggregate, FBU has reviewed more than 200 Canadian athletes, 750 European athletes, and 1,000 U.S. athletes in the pursuit to create these first-ever FBU International All-Star Games.
The FBU International All-Stars are being selected not only for their outstanding performance on the field but also for their accomplishments and dedication in the classroom. Westmoreland has a GPA of 3.0 and was a Scholar Athlete his junior year. He set the Gwinnett County career passing record this season.
