DULUTH -- The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will begin the new year with a new program to help men and women build their businesses.
The new member networking platform Gwinnettworking will kick off Jan. 10, a press release said.
"The Gwinnett Chamber is continually seeking innovative ways to offer members added value in the way of program opportunities," said Vince DeSilva, the senior vice president of member services for the organization. "The benefits this new program structure brings will help members jumpstart their new year with effective knowledge building and networking opportunities designed to help grow their business."
The programs will be held on Thursdays and Fridays, like the current Network Gwinnett program, but the Friday programs will follow a new structure offered from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
On the first Friday of every month, the program will showcase a speaker who will discuss topics related to growing business, personal leadership skills and other topics, while the second and fourth Fridays will continue the current format of self introductions and leads sharing.
On the third Friday of each month, leaders plan to host Gwinnettworking Group sessions, where participants will form small groups to network and discuss business.
The release said attendees will be able to continue to network and share leads through a new web portal.
