Each week during the high school basketball season the Daily Post will honor a Fans Choice Player of the Week for girls basketball based on fan voting during the week at www.gwinnettprepsports.com. Stephanie Amichia

School: North Gwinnett

Last week: Scored 19 points in a victory over Duluth and then had 13 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Peachtree Ridge

Katie Frerking

School: Wesleyan

Last week: Had 18 points, five rebounds and five steals in a win over Holy Innocents'; added 12 points, five assists and three blocks in a win over Decatur

Aubrey Gold

School: Providence

Last week: Had 23 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in a victory over Hebron

Amber Skidgel

School: Hebron

Last week: Scored 26 points, all in the second half, to guide the Lions past Athens Christian
