DULUTH -- A large man, believed to be a light complexion black or Hispanic male, is wanted after he robbed a bank inside a Duluth Kroger on Saturday.
The man, who an FBI officer said weighs about 350 pounds, announced a robbery when he provided a demand note to a teller at the Fifth Third Bank inside the Kroger on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. FBI Special Agent in Charge Mark Giuliano said the suspect is also believed to be responsible for a January bank robbery in Roswell.
In Saturday's heist, at about 11:40 a.m., the robber said he had a gun, although one was not seen, and left with an undisclosed amount of money without further incident, Giuliano said.
Anyone with information should call the Duluth Police Department at 770-476-4151 or the FBI Atlanta office at 404-679-9000.
