DACULA -- A Dacula man who had CSX Police on speed dial early Monday morning has been released from jail on a $1,300 bond.
Nelson Archer, 55, was charged with unlawful conduct during a 911 call after he called the CSX Police Department's Public Safety Communications Center more than 60 times, according to an arrest warrant. The calls took place between midnight and 6 a.m. and the warrant said they were made for a non-police, non-emergency matter.
Archer called from his home phone in Dacula, and his intent was to annoy and harass the emergency communications officers, and interfere or disrupt emergency service, the warrant said.
The charge is a misdemeanor, and a special condition of the bond is that Archer must stay away from, and not communicate with, the CSX Emergency Contact Center.
