Brookwood senior Courtney Ross made a commitment to the Marshall University (W.Va.) fastpitch softball program during a visit last weekend. She is the daughter of Jerry and Leslie Ross.
The first baseman missed all but nine games during her senior season because of injuries. She hit .308 with three RBIs in 13 at-bats. Ross also plays lacrosse for the Broncos and is a scholar-athlete award winner.
