Duluth's Brendan Eckard had a record-setting weekend at the annual Bill Clody Invitational swimming and diving meet.

Eckard broke his school's 11-dive school mark with a score of 360.25 points in the event's Region 7-AAAAAA division.

The Wildcats also got first-place girls finishes from three swimmers-- Rebecca Erwin in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 22.09 seconds), Sarah Miller in the 100 butterfly (1:06.09) and Katie Neas in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.00).

Duluth's Erin Hembree also took first in diving (351.50) followed by Peachtree Ridge's AnnaCate Miller (328.00) and Mill Creek's Lexi Sachse (school-record 308.00).

Norcross shines in Clody meet

Norcross won seven event titles in the Clody Invitational meet, including two wins from Powell Brooks in the 200 IM (1:55.42) and the 500 free (4:40.85).

The Blue Devils' other first-place finishers were Ted Dickerson (200 free, 1:55.02), Sarah Murphy (200 free, 2:03.75), Sydney Story (100 free, 58.03) Mary Niederhauser (500 free, 5:29.49) and Todd Brannon (100 back, 55.97).

North gets wins

North Gwinnett's swimmers earned two victories at the Clody Invitational. Jay Cathcart won the 50 free in 22.63 seconds and Tomas Peribonio won the 100 fly in 55.23.

Bulldog diver Shannon O'Rear also won the six-dive event with 127.55 points.

Wang leads Lions

Peachtree Ridge's Christina Wang won two races at the Clody Invitational. She won both the 50 free (25.01) and the 100 back (1:02.09).

The Lions' Brett Kester was first in the 100 free (50.82).

Collins Hill gets win from Yang

Alex Yang gave Collins Hill its only event win at the Clody Invitational. She won the 100 breast in 1:07.64.

Lanier diver wins meet

Lanier's Anthony Albanese won the Clody Invitational's six-dive competition. His winning score was 159.00.

Parkview dominates at Clody meet

Parkview's swimming and diving scored 12 event wins at last weekend's Clody Invitational.

Wesley Shaw had two of the victories in the 200 free (1:56.74) and the 100 free (51.77).

The Panthers also got first-place finishes from Amelia Campbell (200 free, 2:06.62), Jerry Liu (200 IM, 2:09.41), Megan Reeves (50 free, 26.01), Shelby Johnson (six-dive, 114.20), Morgan Fleming (100 free, 54.87), David Petmecky (500 free, 5:18.53), Marianna Markley (500 free, 5:42.62), Jamie Freking (100 back, 1:06.24), Nathan Jones (100 breast. 1:02.09) and Ben Warren (11-dive, 370.95).

Shiloh's Edjidjimo wins

Nyota Edjidjimo gave Shiloh a first-place finish in last weekend's Clody Invitational swimming and diving meet. She won the 200 IM in 2:23.75.

Dacula picks up wins

Dacula's swimming and diving team had three first-place finishes in last weekend's Clody Invitational.

Stephen Brinkley won both the 50 free (22.53) and the 100 back (56.71), while Andrew Johnson won the 100 fly (55.18).

Brookwood's Tan takes first

Brookwood's Jing Tan had his team's lone first-place finish at last weekend's Clody Invitational swimming and diving meet. He won the 100 breast in 1:16.66.

Rams get two wins

Grayson had a pair of event wins at last weekend's Clody Invitational swimming and diving meet.

Abby Davis won the 100 fly (1:06.12) and Isabella Nienaber won the 11-dive (232.35).

Wolves win own invitational

Wesleyan's swimming and diving teams won the combined points title at the program's Wesleyan Invitational this past weekend.

The Wolves, who finished a close second in the boys and girls divisions, had 549 points to beat Lakeside (479), Milton (446), Centennial (345) and King's Ridge (61).

Wesleyan got an event victory from Drew Middleton in the 100 butterfly (56.57).
