SUWANEE -- A man carrying a black revolver robbed a Wendy's restaurant on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard last week, police said.
In a police narrative of the incident, it occurred at about 5 p.m. on Dec. 5. A shift manager told police that the suspect walked behind the counter, and took "all the big bills" from the cash register. With $110, the manager said she was asked for her keys, but when she replied that they were in the office, the suspect left the restaurant, which is at 1062 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
The manager couldn't identify the vehicle the suspect left in, but said he was dressed in black pants, a black over coat, black shoes and a camouflage ski mask.
The suspect was a white male, about 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.
Four employees and a customer in the drive-through, who called Suwanee Police, witnessed part or all of the incident, the report said. A video of the incident was also recorded by police.

Had the suspect failed to obey the speed limit, use turn signals, or come to a complete stop, he surely would have been apprehended.

If there's no opportunity to make a comment about immigration, create one! Way to have your priorities in line.

suwanne police don't give out speeding tickets on McGinniss Ferry Rd or PIB. Can't believe the manager didn't see the car leaving. Maybe an easy inside job, who knows. It appears the low-life crimes are coming way north now into Suwanee, the peaceful little town. Cops can't seem to keep up with the crime there anymore, nor protect the roads.

"suwanne police don't give out speeding tickets on McGinniss Ferry Rd " - completely not true.
Look at Suwanee on crimereports.com and look at Gwinnett county on crimemapping.com..
There's no way for any agency to "keep up with crimes" anywhere. Crimes can occur at any place at any time...

Suwanee is too preoccupied trapping speeders on I-85 - jurisdiction of which should be prohibited. Suwanee police needs to focus on protecting the people and property in Suwanee and less on trying to make money off of people traveling down the highway.

weird, i have yet to see them on 85. i've only seen gwinnett and the state patrol. Suwanee police are doing something right, otherwise wouldn't we be just like the rest of metro atlanta?

You can not waste time calling the Police when you can Safely, and I saw SAFELY, draw a weapon and eliminate the threat with out innocent being hurt. As one one once said the police sometime takes 8 to 10 minutes while a 38 travels at 2400 feet per second. This will discourage any attempt in future robberys. That is why some have applied for and got concealed weapons permits. You must have firearms training before this can be done safely.

I agree with your comment Mack but with max load 38 travels at about 1300 feet per sec.

Stand corrected and Thanks for the correction. Not sure on the speed but the results would be about the same.

The people that work that restaurant do not believe in owning a gun or maybe they are not allowed to carry one at work. Also, maybe they all have police records and are not allowed to own a gun!
