DECATUR — Authorities are investigating how a pedestrian was killed on a highway just east of Atlanta.
Police in DeKalb County say the man was walking along Covington Highway in the Decatur area Sunday morning when he was struck.
Police say that they don't know how many cars struck the man, or why he was walking along the road around 1:30 a.m. They say it does not appear to be a hit-and-run case as two vehicles stopped at the scene.
