Each week during the football season, the Daily Post conducted online voting for its Fans Choice Player of the Week honors. Those weekly winners will now compete in one final competition — Fans Choice Player of the Year.

Here's a look at the candidates:

Michael Cheeks

School: Mill Creek

Class: Senior

Position: Wide receiver

How he won: Cheeks got the honor after catching four passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Hawks' Class AAAAAA quarterfinal playoff game at North Cobb.

Rafe Chapple

School: GAC

Class: Junior

Position: Quarterback

How he won: Chapple got the honor after completing 22 of 26 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns in the Spartans' 52-21 second-round playoff victory over previously unbeaten Heard County.

Brandon Morrow

School: Brookwood

Class: Senior

Position: Kicker

How he won: Morrow got the honor after kicking three field goals in a first-round playoff win over No. 1 Lassiter. He ended the game with a 32-yard, game-winning field goal in overtime.

Rashad Hall

School: Berkmar

Class: Junior

Position: Athlete

How he won: Hall earned the honor after his 90-yard kickoff return sparked Berkmar to a season-ending, comeback win over Dacula.

Thomas Harris

School: Collins Hill

Class: Sophomore

Position: Running back

How he won: Harris earned the honor after carrying 27 times for 148 yards in the Eagles' victory over Duluth.

Peter Whiteneck

School: GAC

Class: Senior

Position: Wide receiver

How he won: Whiteneck earned the honor after catching three passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Hapeville Charter.

Miles Smith

School: Wesleyan

Class: Sophomore

Position: Running back/linebacker

How he won: Smith earned the honor after rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in the Wolves' game against Westminster. He also had 12 tackles (10 solos) and two tackles for losses on defense.

Cam Lewis

School: North Gwinnett

Class: Senior

Position: Running back

How he won: Lewis earned the honor after rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, along with catching four passes for 26 yards, in last week's 47-28 win over Mill Creek.

Michael Haynes

School: North Gwinnett

Class: Senior

Position: Quarterback

How he won: Haynes earned the honor after rushing for 145 yards, throwing for 91 yards and accounting three four touchdowns in a win over Duluth.

Daniel David

School: Mill Creek

Class: Sophomore

Position: Quarterback

How he won: David earned the honor after throwing for 247 yards and accounting for four touchdowns in a wild, 49-41 loss to state-ranked Norcross.

Marvin Elam

School: Mountain View

Class: Senior

Position: Running back

How he won: Elam earned the honor after rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns in last Friday's win over Habersham Central.

Rhett Delk

School: Wesleyan

Class: Senior

Position: Running back/linebacker/punter/kicker

How he won: Delk earned the honor after making 11 tackles, five for losses, intercepting a pass, recording a safety and punting for a 42-yard average in the Wolves' 30-19 over Stone Mountain.

Josh Brown

School: Brookwood

Class: Junior

Position: Running back

How he won: Brown earned the honor after rushing for 243 yards to lead the Broncos to a 31-21 win over Mill Creek.

Will DeLorenzo

School: Duluth

Class: Senior

Position: Quarterback

How he won: DeLorenzo earned the award after completing 19 of 25 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Wildcats rally past Berkmar 22-15.

Michael D'Angola

School: North Gwinnett

Class: Junior

Position: Kicker

How he won: D'Angola earned the award for his clutch play in the Georgia Dome. His 33-yard field goal as time expired lifted North to a thrilling, 16-14 win over Colquitt County in the Corky Kell Classic.
