Old Dominion quarterback Taylor Heinicke, a Collins Hill grad, continues to break records.
During Saturday's game against Georgia Southern, Heinicke broke Steve McNair's FCS season passing yardage record. It came on a 40-yard completion to Nick Mayers during the thrid quarter.
Heinicke also became the first FCS quarterback to pass for more 5,000 yards in a season during Saturday's game.
Earlier this season, the sophomore broke the NCAA Division I record for passing yards in a game with 730 and total offense in a game with 791 in a 64-61 victory over New Hampshire.
