DULUTH -- A statewide bank with two Gwinnett locations is seeking toy and clothing donations for foster children.

Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 23rd annual wish tree program to collect new toys and articles of clothing for needy foster children with local Departments of Family and Children Services. The bank is asking anyone interested to drop gifts off at any of 16 locations before Thursday.

In Gwinnett, donations can be made at Georgia United's corporate office (7605 Sugarloaf Parkway) and branch (2270 Satellite Blvd.) in Duluth.

Over the years, the credit union has donated an estimated 12,500 gifts to multiple DFCS offices.

"Georgia United has always been involved in the communities we serve across the state," President and CEO Warren Butler said. "As the economy continues to experience challenges, we wanted to reach out to our county neighbors who are interested in donating toys to deserving children right here at home."
