Film Fan loves cast, but isn't sold on 'Hitchcock' script

This film is well cast with the intense Anthony Hopkins carrying the lead as "Hitch," wife Alma well played by Helen Mirren and two lovely leading ladies played by Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel.

Based on the resisted creation of the movie "Psycho," yet "Hitchcock" is more about the strained and enduring relationship between Hitchcock and Alma, who was a critical force behind his success as a writer and director. The couple is portrayed to have little in common except for their mutual professional respect for one another's work, which seems to be the hinge of their relationship. Hitch is portrayed as a witty man of many appetites, and Alma is characterized as a no-nonsense woman who will get the job done, be it personal or professional.

Even with the incredible cast, I consider it mediocre due to the script. To date, the only theater in Atlanta showing this film is the Tara, located in Midtown. If you live in Gwinnett, the question to ask is, "Is it worth the drive?" No, I didn't think so. I suggest waiting for the DVD rental if you're a Hitchcock fan.
