Grocery store bank robber hits again

SNELLVILLE -- A bank robber who seeks out grocery stores made another hit on Monday morning in Gwinnett County.

Police believe the suspect is the same man responsible for three other recent heists in DeKalb County.

A SunTrust Bank inside a Publix grocery store at 1905 Scenic Highway North in Snellville was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money by a black male at about 11:15 a.m. on Monday, said Mark F. Giuliano, Special Agent in Charge of the case from the FBI's Atlanta Field Office. The robber held a weapon while he announced the robbery, then left the store and sped off in an off-white Lincoln sedan with tinted windows.

The robber made his first hit on Oct. 26 at a Best Bank inside a Kroger store at 6678 Covington Highway in Lithonia. Although he dropped the bag with money inside, and it was recovered by authorities. He returned to that bank and robbed it again on Nov. 24.

Between those incidents, on Nov. 14, the bandit hit a Best Bank inside a Walmart store at 5401 Fairington Rd. in Lithonia.

The robber is described as a black male, mid 20s in age, medium build, medium height, wearing a blue ball cap with white logo and a blue hoodie style jacket.

With a photo this good, he should already be in jail. What an idiot. At least wear a "scream" mask and give us all a little chuckle. You picked a tough profession to go in son.
