A SunTrust Bank inside a Publix grocery store at 1905 Scenic Highway North in Snellville was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money by a black male at about 11:15 a.m. on Monday, said Mark F. The robber held a weapon while he announced the robbery, then left the store and sped off in an off-white Lincoln sedan with tinted windows.
The robber made his first hit on Oct. 26 at a Best Bank inside a Kroger store at 6678 Covington Highway in Lithonia. Although he dropped the bag with money inside, and it was recovered by authorities. He returned to that bank and robbed it again on Nov. 24.
