Gwinnett Daily Post
Brookwood football player Adam Ledford enjoyed his visit so much to Harvard University this weekend that he decided to make it his home for the next four years.
Ledford committed to Harvard on Saturday during his visit to the Ivy League school in Cambridge, Mass.
"I am officially committed to play football for Harvard University," Ledford posted on Twitter on Saturday.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound offensive lineman had offers from Tulane, Georgia State, Furman and Charlotte. He's been a three-year starter for the Broncos, including Brookwood's 2010 state championship team.
Ledford will continue the pipeline of Gwinnett players to Harvard.
Greater Atlanta Christian's Colton Chapple was the team's starting quarterback this fall. Collins Hill's Sam Batiste and North Gwinnett's Scotty Hosch signed with Harvard in February and are freshmen on the team.
