Archer will host a ceremony Wednesday to honor senior Lydia Jones, who signed recently with North Carolina State's swimming program. The event is at 2:45 p.m. at the high school.
Jones, the daughter of Bart and Michelle Jones, was high school state runner-up in 100 butterfly and third in the 50 freestyle last season, in addition to winning county in the 50 free and placing second in the 100 fly. She won the 50 free state title as a sophomore.
Jones also ranks first academically in the Tigers' senior class.
