Johnny and Sheila Blan of Buford recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 1, 1962, at Buford Baptist Church.
Johnny is retired from the Gwinnett County Tax Assessor's Office and Sheila is retired from the Internal Revenue Service.
They have two daughters; Jenny Poole, married to Tony, and Jodi Morgan, married to Larry. They also have four grandchildren; Jordan and Cameron Poole and Harrison and Hannah Morgan.
They celebrated with a cruise to Hawaii.
