GRAYSON -- A missing Grayson man last seen Wednesday could be suffering from a medical emergency, police said Tuesday.
Derek Woodston Buford, 42, left his Grayson home in a 2005 silver Mazda Tribute (tag number BZK 0784) nearly a week ago and hasn't been seen or heard from since, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith.
"Buford has some medical issues which are of concern and left home without his medication," Smith said. "(He) may be in medical distress."
Buford works in Covington and may be in Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale or Walton counties, Smith said.
Police describe Buford as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 175 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone who sees him should call 911, Smith said.
Gwinnett police urge anyone with information on Buford's whereabouts to call detectives at 770-513-5300.
