PEACHTREE CITY — An actor on the television show "The Walking Dead" has been charged with driving drunk in Georgia, where the show is filmed.
Peachtree City police arrested 70-year-old Scott Wilson after someone called 911 to report a Chrysler PT Cruiser driving erratically. The arrest happened Aug. 18 at 2 a.m.
Wilson plays a farmer and recovering alcoholic who's part of a band of survivors after a zombie apocalypse on the AMC drama.
The arresting officer wrote in a report that Wilson said the car was his sister's and he'd been drinking scotch and wine at a restaurant. The officer says he was swaying and asked to do yoga poses instead of a field sobriety test.
The report says tests indicated an alcohol level above the legal limit.
It was not immediately clear whether Wilson had a lawyer. A message seeking comment from the network was not immediately returned.
