Senior computer classes offered at Gwinnett parks

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Gwinnett County seniors don't have to be technology illiterate.

Registration will be held next month for fall computer classes from the Gwinnett Senior Learning Center, with class topics like "Windows essentials," "Meet Your Computer" and "Meet Your Camera." The classes will be held at both Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville and Suwanee's George Pierce Park.

Registration for Bethesda Park classes will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the park's senior center. Registration for George Pierce classes will be held from 10 a.m. to noon the next day.

There are both beginning and advanced classes available for adults over 50 years old.

The Bethesda Park Senior Center is located at 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville. The George Pierce Senior Center is located at 55 Buford Highway, Suwanee.
