The Berkmar girls basketball program will host a mixed doubles tennis tournament Sept. 1 as a fundraiser for the girls teams. The event is 9:30 a.m. to noon on the Patriots' high school courts.
Each participant is guaranteed four pro sets with various partners -- no partner is necessary to enter. Snacks, water and balls will be provided. The cost is $20 per player and prizes will be awarded for players with the most victories.
