LAWRENCEVILLE -- For the past few months, Gwinnett Ballet Theatre has been eagerly awaiting for its new location in Lawrenceville to open up so it can out of its current location in Snellville.
On Thursday, dancers, instructors and the public are invited to attend the Hard Hat Party for a sneak peek into the 20,000-square-foot studio.
Anyone interested in signing their children up for ballet and dance classes can drop by to tour the studio, meet the GBT teachers, students and board of directors, and learn how to get the young ones registered.
Since the floors aren't completed, GBT is asking all those who attend to write on the concrete floor with good luck messages before the final flooring is laid down.
The party is free to anyone who would like to stop by and runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments and homemade treats will be served to attendees.
The new studio is slated to open in the beginning of September and is located at 1800 Macleod Drive in Lawrenceville, which is across Sugarloaf Parkway from Gwinnett Technical College.
