The Gwinnett Soccer Association U19 Phoenix Red soccer team finished runner-up nationally at the recent U.S. Youth Soccer Association National Championships in Rock Hill, S.C. GSA lost 2-1 to the Columbus Crew Juniors in the finals.
Dacula grad Ado Junuzovic earned the Golden Ball Award as tournament MVP. The team also featured Dominic Bonilla (Collins Hill), Jack Falle (Parkview), Mitch Kupstas (Peachtree Ridge) and Walker Zimmerman (Brookwood).
