South Gwinnett senior Ryan Patterson has made a commitment to the Reinhardt University baseball program. He is the son of Toby and Jamie Patterson.
Patterson, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, was named to the Gwinnett Dugout Club's second-team all-county squad and to the All-Region 8-AAAAA team as a junior, when he hit .347. A varsity player since his freshman season, he also was a Georgia Dugout Club Top 100 Underclassmen selection the past two years.
