North Gwinnett senior Alaina Hall has made a commitment to the Elon University (N.C.) fastpitch softball program. She is the daughter of Douglas and Deborah Hall.
Hall, a pitcher and outfielder, was an all-county selection by the Gwinnett Diamond Club last season and was an All-Region 7-AAAAA selection the past two seasons. She hit .347 last season and led the Bulldogs in hits, runs, stolen bases and triples. She also had a 2.01 ERA with 91 strikeouts in 73 innings.
Hall, who has a 3.75 GPA, also is a three-year letter winner in track and field.
