STONE MOUNTAIN (AP) -- Police say robbery might have been the motive in the slaying of a 57-year-old man who was gunned down in front of his estranged wife and their two children outside his Stone Mountain town home.
Authorities say Yahya Abajobir was taking the children home from school when he was shot Monday afternoon.
Abajobir's 12-year-old girl tells WSB Radio that her father was fighting off a masked gunman who stopped in the street and demanded his wallet.
She ran to her father after he was shot and tried to revive him.
The girl said she kept blowing into his eyes and talking to him in an attempt to keep him awake.
Police are continuing to search for suspects in the crime.
