Tajay R. Hoppines, age 18 of Dacula, GA died Thursday, August 9, 2012 in a swimming accident. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula. Rev. Karl Alspach will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Tajay is survived by his Mother and Step Father, Michelle and Odeon Shadeed, Dacula. Brother, Aiden Shadeed, Dacula. Sister, Makayla Shadeed, Dacula. Grandmother, Joyce Airol, Vero Beach, FL. Grandfather, Luddy Crooks, Jamaica. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Tajay was a native of Jamaica and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 12 years. He was a 2012 graduate of Mill Creek High School and was a student at Valdosta State University where he earned a scholarship in Cross Country.
