COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) -- A taxi driver has died in a crash in College Park that police say was an apparent case of road rage.
Police say 30-year-old Karl Green of Morrow died when his cab ran off an Interstate 85 ramp at Riverdale Road and struck a tree Monday night. Police Chief Ron Fears said that Morrow and a female driver were seen on a surveillance camera talking at a gas station shortly before the accident. Then he rear ended her on the road, and she began chasing him to try to get his license plate number when the wreck occurred.
Police Sgt. Cameron Burke says that it appears to be a case of road rage that got out of hand.
The taxi had no passengers.
