ATLANTA (AP) -- The DeKalb County district attorney's office has filed notice it will seek a sentence of life without parole for Andrea Sneiderman in the shooting death of her husband outside a Dunwoody preschool.
Sneiderman was indicted Aug. 2 on malice murder and criminal attempt to commit murder. Prosecutors say she was having an affair with the gunman, Hemy Newuman, and conspired with him to kill her husband for his life insurance in 2010. Neuman is serving life without parole.
Sneiderman's attorney, John Petrey, said that she had nothing to do with her husband's killing, and she was victimized by his death.
