Coach Bill Batchelor's comment: "If I could teach players or younger kids how to play the game, Mandy Blackwell would be my poster child. She is tough and is as competitive as they come. Not to mention, she can flat-out play. She is in the top 5 in most of our all-time career/season offensive stats and is already No. 1 in RBIs for a career with her senior year still to go. She has been a rock behind the plate for us with a cannon of an arm. She has great knowledge of the game and is like having another coach on the field. You better be ready when she steps on the field because she is going to bring it."
