Paul John Lackovich, 43, of Buford, Georgia, formerly of Monongahela, PA and Arlington, TX, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Embracing Hospice of colon cancer. Mr. Lackovich was born May 26, 1969, at Mountain Home AFB, Mountain Home, ID; he was the son of Janet Mae Langford and the late Michael Anthony Lackovich. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert William Lackovich, his stepfather Warren Langford and his stepmother Sharon Dale Lackovich. In his youth he traveled throughout the United States and finally settled down in Buford, GA. During his career in the restaurant business he was everything from project manager to kitchen manager and made many lifelong friends, including Brandon Sadler and family, Jeff Brosey, Chris Harkrider, the crews at Diggers and Shenanigans, and many others. He was easy going and loved sports, especially NASCAR. In addition to his mother, Mr. Lackovich is survived by one sister, Joann Kiggins of Waldorf, MD, one brother, James Lackovich of Worcester, MA, three stepsisters, LeNeva Henson, Laura Wampler, and Kim Stevens, all of Texas; three stepbrothers, Ron Langford, and Don Langford of Illinois and Nick Kiel of Texas; aunts and uncles, Margaret Glick-Dyer, Bill and Sharon Williams, John and Edna Williams, Harry and Karen Williams, Paul and Sandy Williams, Glenn and Lou Ann Williams; many cousins and family friends, Ruthie Nodzak and her son Captain Nodzak, both of Phoenix, AZ. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of Mr. Lackovich’s family.
