Power woes shut down part of MARTA

ATLANTA (AP) -- Transit authorities say trains have resumed after a power outage shut down part of Atlanta's commuter rail system at a key station in the city.

MARTA spokesman Lyle Harris says trains were able to roll again after power was restored around 7 a.m. Thursday.

Power issues shut down train service at the Lindbergh Center MARTA station during the early part of Thursday's morning commute.

Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority buses were used to help transport stranded commuters in that area of the system.
