Fourteen Gwinnett players were named to the Georgia High School Water Polo Association's preseason Players to Watch List for the upcoming season, which begins Saturday. The league culminates with the state tournament Oct. 12-14.
Defending state champion Collins Hill had four selections -- defender John Roquet, center Jesse Frazier, utility Becky Bass and center/defender Brooke Phillips.
Norcross was represented by center Chandler Schaefer, utility Travis Bruce and attacker John David Strickland.
Utility Chris McCarter, utility Brett Kester, goalie Keegan Musser and driver Kevin Roughgarden made the list for Greater Atlanta Christian.
Wesleyan's watch list members were defender Jake Cusick, goalie Alex Henson and utility Philip Sawyer.
