I think that race proved that Kevin is ready to compete with the state's best in cross country this year. Kevin has put in a great summer and has been very serious about his training. -- Info file: A big part of the resurgence of the Norcross running program, Rehmann is the best runner to come through Norcross in the last 15 years. He placed 12th at the Class AAAAA state meet and was fourth in the highly competitive Region 7 meet. A fifth place finisher at county, Rehmann was 16th at highly competitive Coach Wood Invitational.

-- Info file: Followed solid freshman campaign with a standout sophomore season. Hawks' top runner at state meet last year by placing fifth. Also took second at Region 7-AAAAA meet and fourth at county.

-- Coach Andy Christie's take: "Eric pays more attention to detail than any other runner I've ever coached. His work ethic is second to none and he is a great leader for our team. He's already accomplished big things as an underclassman but now that he's a junior I can't wait to see what he is capable of."

-- Info file: Very consistent runner that shines on race day. Took 24th at state after finishing fifth at Region 8-AAAAA. Blair was a 12th place finisher at county and took third and the Carrollton Invitational.

-- Coach Jennifer Almand's take: "Tasheanna always works hard and has high expectations for herself. She is an excellent team leader, which earned her the position of team captain. Last year she placed 5th at Region against a very competitive field and 24th at State. Tasheanna is ready to leave a mark on Georgia cross country her senior year with even faster times and higher finishes."

-- Info file: Czerniak bursted onto the scene at the county meet with an eighth place finish. She was in the top 15 in the next five races, including third at Region 7 and 15th at the Class AAAAA state meet.

-- Coach John Rowland's take: "Courtney's fitness has continued to improve over the last year. She is a team leader with a tremendous work ethic. Due to this work ethic, Courtney is developing into one of the top runners in the state. Courtney does everything she is asked to do and is a joy to coach. We expect her to significantly improve on her 15th place state finish from last year."

She was sixth at county, second at region and 26th at state. Shanks is also one of the top 200-meter runners in Georgia in track, taking second at state the last two years.
