LAWRENCEVILLE -- Friends and family of a grieving mother have set up a memorial bank account for a 7-year-old Sugar Hill boy who drowned in a Cumming pool last month.
Stephon Tyrique Alston died July 29 while visiting his father's apartment. According to his obituary, the boy was a second-grader at Sugar Hill Elementary, living primarily with his mother, Erica.
Donations can be made to the "Erica Alston Contribution Account" at any local SunTrust Bank branch.
