LAWRENCEVILLE -- A divorced Lawrenceville couple living under one roof was found dead Saturday morning in what police are calling a murder-suicide.
Gwinnett police responded to a report of a domestic dispute about 7:30 a.m. at a 211 Ashland Creek Court home in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Officers found two people dead with gunshot wounds -- a man, age 50, and his ex-wife, 37, said Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Jennifer Roberts.
"It appears that the victims were a divorced couple who were still sharing the same residence," she said.
The couple's children -- ages 10, 15 and 17 -- were also home, Roberts said.
Police withheld the couple's names because detectives were still trying to notify family members Saturday evening, Roberts said. It wasn't immediately clear which person fired the weapon.
