LILBURN -- Police have asked for assistance locating a man reported missing Wednesday from an assisted living facility in Lilburn.
Jeffrey McAliley, 48, was reported missing from his room at the Lilburn facility at approximately 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Described as a white man approximately 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, he has a "distinctive shoehorn scar" on the left side of his head, Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said.
He has blue eyes and usually wears glasses. McAliley has a shaved head and a long beard, Smith said. He was last seen wearing a bright yellow T-shirt that said "the law is three feet."
"His speech may be difficult to understand, especially if he is nervous, excited or anxious," Smith said.
McAliley has officially been listed as a missing person. Anyone coming into contact with him is asked to call 911.
